Yvette “Eva” Marie Dumas | Real Estate Title Attorney

Yvette is a North Louisiana native, hailing from West Monroe & Ruston where she attended Louisiana Tech University. She graduated in 1989 with her Bachelors of Business & Administration in Accounting, and continued to pursue higher education at Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans. After completing her first year in the top 10% of her class, she transferred to Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2000. An exemplary student, Yvette earned her Juris Doctorate and graduated in the top 25% of her class. After testing the water as a litigation attorney, she joined the Bradley Moreau Title team in 2014.

Since joining the team, Eva has definitely made a place for herself here through outstanding customer service and her can-do attitude. She has been nominated for Top Lawyer of Acadiana in the Acadiana Profile Magazine from 2014-2018, and was featured in the publication in 2017. Her practice centers on wills, donations, and successions, as well as standard residential transactions and refinances. She has a passion for teaching, and regularly goes to brokerages in Lafayette and Lake Charles to educate real estate professionals on a wide variety of topics based on her first-hand knowledge. With the experience and know-how, Yvette makes sure her clients are at ease when handling their transactions.

She is certified in American Land & Title’s Best Practices. Eva is also a member of the Louisiana Bar Association & the Lafayette Bar Association. Currently, she is an active member of the Acadian Home Builders Association, the Louisiana Home Builders Association, an active affiliate of the Realtors Association of Acadiana, the Southwest Louisiana Association of Realtors, and the Acadiana Mortgage Lender’s Association. Additionally, she is a licensed title insurance producer with the Louisiana Department of Insurance and an agent of the Chicago Title Insurance Company, the Old Republic Title Insurance Company, and the First American Title Insurance Company.

In her free time, Eva enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and gardening. She’s got the green-thumb to prove it! Her hands-on approach to life has come in handy throughout her personal life and career, making her fit right into the Bradley Moreau Title family.
